CARE Quarterly Update – June 2020

Despite ongoing concerns about COVID-19, most major share markets around the world rose during the three months to June 2020. Investors seemed to focus on the better than expected economic data, the re-opening of economies, the gradual easing of social restrictions, government assistance and the positive news about a vaccine.

We are delighted to report that the returns across all portfolios were strong during the June 2020 quarter.

Over the next few years, we believe it is likely that interest rates and term deposit rates will remain low. Further, relative to interest rates, we believe that share market valuations seem reasonable.

Navigating this “new normal” will be a challenge that requires a good financial plan and it will be important for us to work together to rebalance your portfolio, when required.
